SRD racer gets 3 podiums at the Whistler Cup!

Once again great results from SRD athletes!

At this weeks prestigious 2009 Whistler Cup, an international junior race held at Whistler BC Canada, 2 SRD racers scored some great results. Mikaela Shiffrin (pictured above) racing for Burke Mountain Academy and last years Whistler Cup Champion came back again and dominated with a Gold in the Slalom, Bronze in The GS and a Bronze in the Super G. A triple podium performance! Safe to say Mikeala is among the top 13-14 year old racers in the world right now. Remember her name!

Local Ski Club Vail racer Katharine Irwin (top center) also got some top results at her first major international competition scoring with 11th in the Super G, 7th in the Slalom and 18th in the GS.
