Its been long since I last skied and to be honest, I actually miss the cold snowy winter. Its feeling like the temperature is getting hotter everyday. Its been nothing but studying for final exams for the past couple of weeks and everyone on campus is dead silent studying. We get out of school on the 15th and I cant wait. Baseball just ended a week ago and it starts back up again July 1st.
Our school had a fundraiser to collect money for our student-athlete scholarship award about a month ago. The goal was simple, to climb and descend Stratton three times. For each time we ascended the mountain, we raised a a certain number of money. In the end, our school in total earned $20,000. It was really tough, but it was really fun getting in some late April skiing in.
I plan on going to Chile in October and ski out west in Colorado in December. I can't wait to start racing some FIS races and get back on snow!
