The Whistler Cup, North America's only international competition for junior ski racers opens Thursday at Whistler mountain in British Columbia. In it's 17th year the title meet will play host to the best 11 to 14 year old athletes from 20 countries, and will include invitees from the Topolino event held earlier this season in Italy.
Organizing Committee chairman Wayne Holm said he was honored to welcome all saying he hoped all would "enjoy the ride," and form lasting friendships "that span the globe."
The U.S. team was announced Tuesday and is split evenly between the USSA divisions. Representing the East on the men's side will be Jackson Koegh of Gould Academy, and Kendall Pasteris and Daniel Duffy of GMVS.
