But can they pull SRD's Black Ice bus? |
Just the other day we returned from Colorado and need to get some strength back which we had lost when we were skiing. So we have been hitting the gym pretty hard for a couple of days. But after a sprint work out and an agility circuit workout my coach Chip Cocrhane pulled out some towing harnesses.
We began by just having one person holding one to the end of the harness and just towing each other across the gym. But that wasn't enough so we went out to the parking lot and towed Chip's big Doge Ram pickup truck (in the back left of picture above) around the A.G.C. which is our ware house looking work facility. But that still wasn't enough so we rode up to the dorms in the pickup truck and we tied our harnesses on the steel bumper of the bus and mushed. We pulled a yellow full size for a about 400 meters (1/4 mile) up a slight grade in some places. It was super cool to get to tow such a piece of machinery.
This was a truly outstanding feat and I would like to commend the folks we were also hitch to the bus and helped me pull it; Kyle East, Alex Hebig, Jeremy Leavitt, Drew West, Eli Pangburn, Ben Listowich, and Liz Muntia.
Sugarloaf is supposed to open this weekend and we can stopping towing buses and get on snow!
