It has been great to be skiing again. In early November I went out to Loveland, CO for the NDS Junior Champions Camp. It was great early season training and it was great to ski with the best J3’s in the country. After that camp, I went out with my school, Killington Mountain School, to Mammoth California. It was a long trip to get out there but the training was some of the best early season training I have ever had. It was a really fun trip with great snow. We were out there for a week and a half. It was good timing for the trip because the day we got back, Killington opened again and hopefully will stay open for the rest of the season.
The skiing is not nearly as good as it was out west but it is still skiing. Killington is one of the only mountains open right now in Vermont so we are lucky to not have to travel to ski. I am really looking forward for races to start and for the season to really get underway.
