Burcin's Blog #2

The first month back at Killington Mountain School has been great. The early season skiing is sick and the training has been awesome. We've been training gates for about 2 weeks. Killington had a J1/2 slalom and I foreran the first girls and boys runs. I was only about 2 seconds off the pace and I was pretty pumped.

I just got back from the USSA fundamentals camp in Sunday River. It was really good to get some tips from other coaches and it was also really fun. Except for one day it was like 20 below and everyone froze.

My first race is at the end of December at Okemo. It's a fun race so its a good warm up for my first real race in the beginning of January. It's a slalom at Suicide 6 and I'm psyched because I'm feeling really good with my slalom skiing. Can wait to start rippin it up!
