The organizers of the 2013 FIS Alpine World Championships will be elected by the FIS Council on Thursday, 29th May. The announcement of the elected organizers will take place at the Westin Grand in Cape Town at approximately 19:00 CET.
For the first time in FIS’s history, the announcement of the elected organizers for the 2013 FIS World Championships will be available through live web streaming. The direct feed, available as of ca. 19:00 CET on Thursday 29th May, will show the FIS president announcing the results of the FIS Council’s election of the organizers as well as the celebrations by the winners.
The live streaming will be available through several web sites including the FIS official site (www.fis-ski.com) as well as the sites for the candidates in Beaver Creek/Vail at www.vvf.org.
