Today was a great day for the SRD Team at both the Aspen J2 National Junior Olympics and the Vail J3 Rocky/Central Junior Olympics. First up Vail:

In todays Downhill down Gold Peak our newest SRD team member 1st year J3 Katharine Irwin of Ski Club Vail put up a 4th place finish just missing the podium. Race Favorite SRD's Jessie Delecenserie however lost a pole on the top of the course and finished a bit off the pace in 16th, Sure to make that up in the Super G tomorrow.

Meanwhile under sunny skies in Aspen SRD's Ben Morse, a 1st year J2 racing for Maine's CVSA took 3rd in the men's Slalom after posting the 2nd fastest opening run. With his solid run in the Downhill Ben also took 3rd overall in the Combined and got an invite to the US National Championships on his home mountain at Sugarloaf. Glad to see Ben got to take home some hardware! So as Aspen comes to a close SRD racers took home 3 Bronze medals!
