Stephan rips it in the North West!

Hello everyone!

As the end of the ski racing season comes to a close, my ranking as 3rd in SG and 6th in DH still stand. I still have one slalom race left in May to lower my slalom points even further! I'm really excited for summer because I will be working camps almost every week, and I hope to see SRD and it's athletes up there for some summer training.

Pre Order SRD race suits now for Fall delivery!

The new SRD Black Ice and Woodstock World Cup GS and DH race suits are now available for pre-order! Place your order by August 1, 2009 and receive an additional 10% off the list price as well as a free SRD Black Ice or Woodstock 100% cotton tee shirt! These suits are in limited quantity so reserve yours now. Delivery will be Fall 2009.

The SRD Black Ice and Woodstock continue SRD's tradition of cutting-edge style and fabrication. All the GS suits are fully padded in all critical areas and both feature our unique deep-printing process for deeper and brighter colors and less pilling. Made with the exclusive and fast Swiss Eschler fabric.

These suits will be worn by the SRD Race Team in 2009-2010. Black Ice is approved by Angus and the boys from AC/DC (Not really, but if they raced?), Woodstock supports peace, love and ski racing and celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the Woodstock concert. Order now, its good karma.

2 SRD Athletes named to USA Whistler Cup Team

The Whistler Cup, North America's only international competition for junior ski racers opens Thursday at Whistler mountain in British Columbia. In it's 17th year the title meet will play host to the best 11 to 14 year old athletes from 20 countries, and will include invitees from the Topolino event held earlier this season in Italy.

Organizing Committee chairman Wayne Holm said he was honored to welcome all saying he hoped all would "enjoy the ride," and form lasting friendships "that span the globe."

The U.S. team was announced Tuesday and is split evenly between the USSA divisions. Representing the East on the men's side will be Jackson Koegh of Gould Academy, and Kendall Pasteris and Daniel Duffy of GMVS. Bobby Moyer of Aspen, Ian Beal of Ausblick and Mitchell Underhill of Buck Hill will represent the Rocky-Central division. Eric Haferman from Bridger, Thomas Robles of Squaw Valley and Kieran Adams from Park City will represent the West.

On the women's team Elle Gilbert of Suicide Six, Mardene Haskell of Holderness and Mikaela Shiffrin from Burke represent the East. Julia Cooper of Steamboat, Paula Moltzan of Buck Hill and Katharine Irwin of Vail represent Rocky/Central. Morganne Murphy, Madeleine Hall and Tenaya Driller, all from Squaw Valley hold down the West slots.

The U.S. team is the defending champion of the nations competition and will look to maintain that status.
